Invent the Future

There has always been a fine line between science fiction
and science fact both often crossing over into the realms
of the other. But I believe this is a first for a cartoon.
Wired Magazine reports that an invention from the Simspons
has actually been made and is in production in Spain.
Way back in August of 1992 Homer Simpsons' brother Herb invented
the baby translator which "measures the pitch, the frequency,
and the urgency of a baby's cries." Then a year later Pedro
Monagas invented WhyCry without ever having seen the Simpsons
episode.
