Saturday Morning With Sid & Marty
Krofft DVD available on August 2nd
On August 2nd, Rhino Home Video will release
their koo-koo craziest DVD ever! SATURDAY MORNING
WITH SID AND MARTY KROFFT is a collection of 7
delicious pilot episodes from the prolific producers
of Saturday morning live-action television shows
broadcast during the 1970’s. Millions of “Gen
X’ers” who grew up during this era fondly remember
H.R. Pufnstuf, The Bugaloos, Sigmond, Sleestak’s
and many more zany Krofft characters as staples
in their fortified diet of Saturday morning TV
viewing. In addition, the cleverly designed DVD
cover is an affectionate homage to kids cereal
boxes of the 70’s. To capture the attention of
children in the 21st century, this special DVD
is loaded with bonus feature “toy surprises” including
a commentary track with comedian George Lopez
from ABC’s The George Lopez Show and an SAT style
interactive quiz called “The K-SAT” that will
test your Krofft show knowledge.
“I love the idea that parents can introduce their
children to the Krofft brand of TV shows now available
on DVD,” remarked Producer Marty Krofft. The fantasy
world we created with our unique characters, costumes
and sets is quality programming for multiple generations
to enjoy.”
