This reporter was extremely ill, but that did not stop her from going to the Philadelphia areas HOTTEST convention for 2010.
Wizard World’s Philadelphia Comic Con.
Hands down the best I have been to in a VERY long time. It also just so happened to be the 10th Anniversary for the comic con (in all honesty that was close to being the last time we had attended this particular event).
When the 2010 Comic Con is compared to the earlier event I had attended it seems to lack a little something, but only in the vendor area. The talent and guests all still ROCK. After ten years of going the average guest has kicked up the costumes to a level of greatness (check out our Comic-con costume gallery for some awesome pics).
Some of the highlights were: Bruce Campbell, Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, and tons of vendors selling anything and everything from comics to Steampunk accessories.
Some of the disappointments were: Ecto-1 was a no show, Linda Blair could not be found (I had my reasons), way too many wrestlers, couldn’t find a single toy company, and we could not afford to buy all the autographs that we wanted get.
On that note, many of the actors would be on the vendor floor while we were in listening to speakers then be gone when we came back out to get autographs.
