Yesterday…err…today…. (time travel & time zones give me a headache). Novemeber 28th (by way of tomorrowland aka New Zealand) was the world premiere of the film The Hobbit in Wellington. The entire town…nay country…is decked out in Hobbit fashion from their airline and Gollum at the airport to their passport stamps and the post (see the WETA Dwarves on the New Zealand Post building).
We had a friend in Wellington keeping us posted on the cool happenings prior to the movie premiere. So we had a first hand (although from the other side of the globe) look at the Embassy Theater and the ginormous Gandolf there. Then more photos from just prior to the premiere gave us a glimpse of the Goblins on the red carpet. SO COOL!
