Discover the Dinosaurs is a travelling dino show that will be coming to an expo center near you. This is a great day out for young kids. Kids under 10 were really eating this show up. The huge, animatronic dinosaurs were pretty cool, but there are only about 10-15 displays set up (multiple dinosaurs per display). It will only take you about 20 minutes to walk through the exhibit. At $20 to get it that’s about $2 per minute/dinosaur.
The rest of the convention center was filled up with a gift store and kiddy attractions — face painting, bouncy rooms, dino digs, etc. Another reason this event is more for small children.
Sadly some of the dinosaurs weren’t in the best of shape. The stegosaurus in particular had seen better days. I am sure most people did not even see how the back spines were broken off.
Below you will find a gallery of dinosaur photos from the show. Most of the larger dinos were animated and some of them could even be controlled by the guests both pretty cool. If you really enjoy dinosaurs or find the engineering & art behind this type of thing interesting you’ll probably enjoy this show.
