Unless you are living off world you are well aware of the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011. They need our help and support now.
Nichelle Nichols, AKA Uhura of Star Trek announced today on Twitter that if you donate to one of the organizations found at http://usaid.gov/ (which I believe links you over to this list of valid charities who are helping in Japan) she will send you and autographed picture. All you have to do is email her a copy of the receipt showing that you donated at least $50 to one of those charities and she will send you a signed picture. She is a wonderful woman and this is a wonderful thing she is doing.
