Available today! The LEGO Back to the Future Delorean Time Machine.
I will be setting my browser to LEGO.com at warp speed and placing my order for this set ASAP. If I had gone to SDCC this would have been one of those booths that I would have stood in line at to buy this set.
This is a set I have been following for awhile now. Ever since I first spotted it on the LEGO CUUSOO site. (I am proud to say I am one of the supporters of this project and happy to buy the set with all the flaws and all).
The Official LEGO product description:
Travel Back to the Future with the awesome DeLorean time machine!

Finally, this unique set also includes a fascinating booklet containing production notes, original images and fun details from the movies. Includes 2 minifigures: Marty McFly and Doc Brown.

There are issues with the set. Like the time panel and the flux capacitor are printed incorrectly (hope LEGO will make new pieces for us and not just give us stickered pieces to replace these). Also the slope of the hood of the original project is gone (not sure why but they decided not to use that same LEGO piece that the original model builder used that would have given it a goo look).
The folks over at From Bricks to Bothans hates the set and not just for the reasons I stated above either.
The Brothers Brick posted a cool Lone Ranger / BTTF kit mash up that creates the scene from Back to the Future with the train pushing the Delorean down the tracks.
